Organisational boundary, consolidation approach and entities in scope

Scope 1 by source type, dual Scope 2 (location and market based), all 15 Scope 3 categories with exclusions justified

Base year, recalculation policy, year-on-year movements and uncertainty

ISO 14064-1:2018 structure, responsibility statement and significance assessment

Third-party verification: standard, assurance level, materiality, scope and Scope 3 coverage

Readiness for CDP, SBTi and EcoVadis submissions

Data gaps a customer will ask for: revenue, workforce split, energy, policies and certificates

Possible verdicts

Accept

No critical or high-severity gaps. The report can support customer disclosures and framework submissions.

Conditional accept

High-severity gaps remain. Usable for a named purpose only until they close.

Reject

A critical requirement fails. The report is not usable as evidence until rebuilt or re-verified.

Text-based PDF GHG inventory reports with Scope 1, 2 and 3 figures in tCO2e. ESG and sustainability reports, scanned PDFs and reports belonging to another company are not accepted.
