Jeevitnadi Foundation
Jeevitnadi – Living River Foundation is a Pune-based organization dedicated to the revival of urban rivers through active citizen participation. Founded in 2014 by alumni of the Ecological Society and inspired by ecologist Late Shri Prakash Gole, it became a registered Section 8 company in September 2016.
Mission and Vision
Jeevitnadi's mission centers on reviving rivers by focusing on individual and community actions. Their vision is the revival of the Mutha River in Pune city. They aim to raise public awareness and participation, eliminate causes of pollution through toxin-free lifestyles, and develop scientific and ecological management plans for river revival and sustainability.
