Checko, a face care brand by Vedami Skin Sciences based in Pune, Maharashtra, is built on a simple belief: “Basics. Always.” Products should care for people and the planet alike. Checko set out to measure and fully neutralise the carbon footprint of a 100 kg production batch of its Gentle Face Cleanser and Barrier Care Face Moisturiser.

Challanges

A credible carbon-neutral claim for skincare demands more than good intentions. Checko needed to move from belief to a measured, verified, and independently traceable result, and faced several hurdles:
